Always free. No ads. No data harvesting. The Hive is a side project built for DHG alumni and friends. What you choose to share is kept only to make the Hive work.

What the Hive will not do
No selling data
Nothing you share is sold, rented, or used to build an advertising profile.
No behavior analytics
The Hive does not run third-party behavior analytics or keep a history of every place you click.
No inactivity removals: a quiet month or year does not expire your Hive profile or your place in the family.
What is stored
Only what makes the features work
The clicker needs only an anonymous browser identity. A profile asks for more information only when you choose to create one.
Your chosen profile details
A gamertag and membership choice, plus any aliases, favorite game, playing-now status, year, division, or squad you decide to add.
Things you publish
Check-ins, guestbook notes, memories, flights, board threads, replies, and visible honeycomb Wall messages you choose to send.
Feature state
Token and paused reward records, private moderation reports, Wall draft and viewing state, and private My Space settings needed to make those features function.
Browser continuity
The default identity uses anonymous browser authentication and local browser storage. After a successful check-in, you can deliberately save that Hive profile to an email address so it opens on another browser or device.
Shared and private
Know where your words go
Public profile details and things you publish are meant to be shared inside the Hive. Your country of origin is omitted from the public roster and returned only to your matching verified identity, along with private My Space state and reports. Do not put secrets into a public post, check-in, Wall comb, or guestbook entry.
Alpha limitation: an anonymous identity remains tied to its browser. Saving a profile to an email address can carry it to another device, but clearing an unsaved browser identity can still break access to it.

Small, named dependencies
Supabase
The shared backend uses Supabase for the anonymous browser identity, storage, and server-owned Hive operations.
No accounts at all
The Hive has no login. There is no email address, no password, and no account record, so there is nothing to sign in to and nothing to recover. Your profile is remembered by this browser only, and clearing the browser starts a new identity.
Google Fonts
The current pages request font files from Google Fonts. Like any external web request, that service receives ordinary connection information such as an IP address and browser headers.
There is no Google Analytics, ad pixel, social tracking pixel, or third-party behavior recorder in the Hive.

The Hive keeps the minimum needed for the features you use. It exists to help people reconnect, not to monetize their attention.
